Prince William & Kate Middleton Not Getting A Prenup

Prince William & Kate Middleton Not Getting A Prenup. The royal couple Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly not going to have a prenuptial agreement.

The royal couple are gearing up for the April 29 wedding but unlike most process in the US, they won't sign any agreements regarding their assets and wealth.

Victoria Arbiter who is an expert on all royal affairs says she ‘highly doubts’ the couple will be signing such a document. “They’re common in America but rare here in England, so much so that, while they do carry some weight in a court of law, they’re not 100% legally binding,” Victoria tells CBS News.

It appears that Prince William is hoping to protect the crown by ensuring his wedding doesn’t end in divorce.

“Obviously, William has a vast wealth to protect, money in a trust from [Princess] Diana and the queen mother, but he’s intimated that divorce is not an option for him. He wants to avoid the pitfalls of former members of the royal family,” Victoria says.
